I knew him as Jim...

What do I remember about Jim? •He had a fun-loving streak a mile wide. •He had a laugh that shook his entire frame. •He never said much but when he did it was worth listening too. •He led by example, not with words. •He always had your back. •Those who truly knew him knew had did have a bit of a temper at times but his infinite patience often quelled it quickly. •He spent years shaking his head at his wife’s stage performance persona. •There were few things that excited him more than family, music and pazookis. •He survived Keith’s teenage hair styles…the “mushroom cloud” being the most notable. •He ensured his entire family returned from England flying First Class on British Airways, receiving shoulder/neck massages en route after scaring us all to no end with heart trouble while on tour. •And many more… Most importantly, he drew his strength from God. He would expect us all to be having a good laugh right now, even if it was at his expense. My good friend is now with his Lord... Revelation 5: 11.Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12.In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” 13.Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” 14.The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped. Frankly put, I am a bit jealous he got there first! He is standing in the middle of heaven, his ears filled with the sounds of endless joy blending into music beyond imagination, the aroma is without description, and there is so much to see…yes, I am definitely jealous. Farewell from this earth buddy...some day I intend to join you. Dan Hood
